This spectacular 3-day cross-valley trek connects two of the Atlas Mountains' most beautiful valleys. Start in Imlil, gateway to Toubkal, and trek through high mountain passes with panoramic views. Cross remote Berber villages and alpine meadows before descending into the lush Ourika Valley, famous for its waterfalls and green landscapes.
Experience dramatic changes in scenery, from high-altitude passes to river valleys with cascading waterfalls. This trek offers the perfect combination of physical challenge and scenic beauty, ending at the picturesque Setti Fatma waterfalls. Perfect for trekkers who want diverse landscapes and authentic mountain experiences.
Drive from Marrakech to Imlil (1.5 hours). Begin trekking through the Mizane Valley, passing Berber villages of Aremd and Ait Souka. Climb gradually through terraced fields and walnut groves to reach Tacheddirt village (2,300m). Stunning views of Toubkal massif. Overnight in mountain gite.
Trekking: 4-5 hours | Ascent: 560m
Climb to Tizi Likemt pass (3,555m) with spectacular panoramic views of the High Atlas. Descend into a different valley system with dramatic scenery changes. Pass shepherds' camps and alpine meadows. Reach Timichi village (2,000m) for overnight stay. Traditional dinner with local family.
Trekking: 6-7 hours | Ascent: 700m | Descent: 1,000m
Descend into the beautiful Ourika Valley, following the river through lush vegetation. The landscape becomes greener with walnut trees and gardens. Arrive at Setti Fatma village. Optional hike to the seven waterfalls cascading down the mountainside. Lunch overlooking the waterfalls. Return to Marrakech (1.5 hours drive).
